With Pride Month came some blessings for Khaya Dladla. The House of Zwide decided to spoil herself with a new whip, and she couldn’t be happier.
In a post on her official Instagram page, she shared a clip of her new whip with a lengthy caption about the significance of Pride Month for her. She noted that the period is always one of introspection for her in that it signifies how far the LGBTQ movement has come.
From a march in the streets of Johannesburg on October 13 1990 in the advocacy for LGBTQ rights, to the present, a lot has changed for the better for those who chose to identify with the community. Looking back, it is a thing of joy to her that the community has grown as well as earned recognition here and there.
Last we checked, her post had been liked over 13k times. A look at the comment showed that her fans were more focused on the SUV she bought than on the message in her caption.
