The music continues for Khaya Mthethwa with the official announcement of a new single titled “Avulekile.”
The songster announced the coming of the song in a recent Instagram post. Those who can’t wait for the official release of the song may tune in to Ukhozi FM at 7:40am to hear it. Oh, the time is past. But not to worry, the full version of the song will be available presently. The song is part of Ukhozi FM’s 60th Anniversary Collector’s Compilation.
That body of work houses several fine numbers you definitely have to check, from little known artistes to the very famous ones. You may as well consider “Avulekile” as an introduction to what is to come – the Collector’s Compilation so to speak – something beautiful, insightful definitely worthy of the title.
By the way, Khaya Mthethwa recently opposed the easing down of lockdown for churches in South Africa. In this view he has the support of fellow muso Anele Mdoda.
