Khuli Chana’s Mythrone Records Snaps Joint Venture Deal With Universal Music Group

Hip hop champ Khuli Chana is in a realm of excitement right now, having just secured a joint venture with Universal Music Group, a global music leader.

Khuli Chana’s Mythrone Records, alongside Universal music Group, is releasing the hip hop champ’s amapiano inspired “Buyile” song which has Lady Do and Stino Le Thwenny as guests.

Speaking about the partnership, Universal Music Group’s director of urban music Refiloe Ramogase stated that Khuli Chana has been crafting timeles and unique music. He also acknowledged Khuli Chana’s gift in discovering and nurturing talents.

At some point in his career, Khuli Chana had co-signed the likes of AKA, A-Reece, and now Maglera Doe Boy. It is expected he would bring his gift of talent discovery into the Universal Music Group family – and he’s looking forward to it.

Speaking about the partnership, Khuli Chana made it clear he’s thrilled about it. He acknowledged Universal music group shares his vision, and associating with the record label will make him realize his vision.

By the way, UMG South Africa recently lost is former director, Dharam Sewraj.

  1. I personally think that it was a wise move by the Legend. He is been in the music space for a very long time and it is about time he started making business moves such as this one. This joint venture will open doors to a lot of undiscovered talents in his vicinity and maybe for myself as well lol.
