Korean Pop Queen BoA Prepares For 2oth Anniversary With Virtual Concert

South Korean pop singer BoA will mark the 2oth anniversary of her musical odyssey with a virtual concert. The coronavirus pandemic, as well as the need to enforce social distancing measures, is the reason the concert is virtual.

The concert has been dubbed BoA Still Our No. 1, quieting emphasizing the songstress’s massive appeal across South Korea. The event will take place exactly six days from now – on 25 August, by 6:25pm.

The concert will hold on VLIVE.

BoA made her music debut in 2000 with the album “ID.” It’s been 20 years of dropping the numbers and winning new fans. Now the singer takes stock of the progress made in two decades. During the virtual concert, she will have a question and answer session with her fans.

At just 33, BoA has made remarkable impact on the music scene back home and even internationally. Her follow-up album, “No. 1,” released in 2002, had the distinction of being among the bestselling records of that year, with over 500k copies sold.
