Kwesta charges a huge sun for international feature

SA rapper, Kwesta charges a large sum to appear on international features.

Money is made through various means in the music industry. Artists do not only make money from gigs and songs sales, they also make a lot of money from endorsements and song features.

It is no news that local and unknown artists pay from R50k to R100k to popular acts to feature them on their songs. The same way, other artists pay huge sums to international rappers to have them feature on their songs. Also, some of our favourite rappers in Mzansi get paid huge sums to appear on songs by various international rappers.

In a recent interview, an artist manager opened up about how much SA Hip-hop act, Kwesta charges for a feature. He revealed the rapper charges around $10k (R187k) to be featured by international acts, and an extra 5k to appear in the music video.

He said,

There are n*ggas that are paying ten thousand dollars to have Kwesta on a song… to have come shoot a video, an extra five thousand dollars.
