Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi & Others In The FIFA FIFPro Men’s World XI

It has been said that if you are good at what you do, one way or the other, you will earn recognition. This reality plays out almost all the time around the world. For Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and several others in the football universe, it was time, once again, to be recognised for their contributions to the game with the announcement of the FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World XI.

This is the bringing together of eleven world-class footballers who have done exceptionally well for club and country and continue to illumine the football universe. If you are a keen football buff, then you likely have an idea who made the list or should make their list.

There is Lionel Messi, who led Argentina to a World Cup victory in Qatar in 2022. It would be the 16th successive time that the Argentine would be voted into the top 11.

There is also Kylian Mbappe who, although he didn’t clinch the cup with his French compatriots, put up such a superlative performance that he remains a subject of conversation over that long after the World Cup.

Others who made the cut are Erling Haaland, Karim Benzema Thibaut Courtois, Kevin De Bruyne, Casemiro, Luka Modric, Virgil van Dijk, Achraf Hakimi and Joao Cancelo.
