Amapiano DJ Lady Du and Megadrumz’s new song “Tjina” has garnered 10 million views on TikTok and over 200k videos on the platform.
Amapiano is slowly dominating the world. There is no doubt that it will be the next big genre in the world after Afrobeats. With songs like “Water” by Tyla and more dominating the scene, more Piano jams are rising.
Taking to social media, Lady Du announced that her new song with Megadrumz has been getting a lot of love on TikTok. The singer and DJ wrote, “We are on 10 million views on TikTok with over 200k videos posted. Thank you soooo much, guys.”
The song is featured on Megadrumz’s latest project titled “For Your Soul (Extended Edition).” The project houses 22 tracks and features contributions from several hitmakers, including Aymos, Murumba Pitch, Nokwazi, Miss Twaggy, Jon Delinger, Nkatha, Mazet SA, Ngwatu, and more.
Megadrumz and Lady Du’s song “Tjina” has been getting a lot of love since the album dropped on September 8. Lady Du also dropped an album titled “Song Is Deep” in April. The album housed 20 tracks and featured contributions from Reekado Banks, Mpumi Mzobe, Murumba Pitch, T-Man SA, Tee Jay, JonTy, Killer Kay, Luu Nineleven, Busta 929, Bassie and more.
