Famous Mzansi DJ Lamiez Holworthy motivates her younger fans to believe in their dreams like she did hers.
Lamiez Holworthy is that girl. We have watched her rise and we are certainly proud of how far she’s come. The star was one of the guests at the Metro FM Music Awards and she also presented one of the awards of the evening. Her dress from Masango was to die for.
The famous DJ took to her Instagram page and shared a clip of herself getting help from her husband Khuli Chana as she prepared for the event. She shared some words of encouragement to young black girls who dream of being where she is today, to keep believing just like she did. She wrote,
“Little black girl, ALL your dreams are valid. Growing up, all I wanted to do was be on SABC 1 and Metro Fm. All I wanted was to be a fully booked DJ, businesswoman and SUPERMOM whilst changing the world a little at a time… and now? Now, I get to call all those dreams my reality. Ps. Interviewed my highschool crush at the awards.”
She was praised by her fans for always putting in work and consistently inspiring them.
