Radio DJ and LiveAMP host Lamiez Holworthy has made an interesting revelation about the music industry. Where many would gladly shout about the many friends they have in the industry, the songstress has revealed that she doesn’t have many friends.
A Twitter user who goes by the the handle @BossMatriach had tweeted how annoyed she is with mean girl energy and the cliquey crowd, adding that she is best no associating with both.
Commenting on the post, Lamiez Holworthy had stated that is why she doesn’t have many friends in the industry. She doesn’t fancy the clique thing either.
By the way, Lamiez Holworthy, via her company Holworthy Holdings, recently entered into a partnership with her husband Khuli Chana’s MyThrone Records and Universal Music South Africa.
The details of the partnership are no exactly out there, but according to Holworthy, it would enable her release her own music – something she has been looking forward to for a long time. The partnership excites her.
Also, the partnership might lead to the discovery and nurturing or new talents in the industry. Like Lamiez, Khuli Chana is excited about the deal.
