She did it again. Yes, South African singer and media personality Lamiez Holworthy has given a gift of kitchen appliances to a stranger.
However, some social media users were quick to warn her that the person who requested help from the general public might actually be catfishing.
Catfishing is said to be the practice of obtaining things from people by using a façade or false front.
Twitter user @Siyanndaa had put up a tweet in which she alerted the Twitter community that she just moved to a new room of her own. She’d also asked those with use kitchenware they no longer use to help her with those. She gave her location as Thembisa and urged members of the space to help her retweet.
The tweet apparently reached Lamiez Holworthy, who congratulated the lady, noting that she has a kettle and toaster set that Siyanndaa might have if she wants.
While some fans applauded Lamiez Holworthy for the gesture, others urged her to be careful, as the person who had put up the tweet might be catfishing. You can check out the tweet below.
