Lasizwe Spotted On EFF Billboard, Claims Poster Is Fake

Is podcast host Lasizwe now a member and supporter of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF)? Well, that’s one question that’s on the lips of many in South African right now after the local comedian popped on one of the EFF posters.

As you probably already know, elections are close, and the EFF, like other opposition parties, is determined to capture power from the ruling ANC. And for most parties, no strategy is too egregious to adopt in the plot to capture power.

A post shared by the social media commentator Musa Khawula actually showed Lasizwe in one of the EFF posters. Earlier, Lasizwe had urged his over 2 million followers on Twitter to vote for the EFF. You can check it out below.

Reacting to the billboard, however, the controversial podcast host had described it as fake.

Sweerie… Jokes aside, someone created that EFF poster. It’s creative but It’s not REAL. #GoVote

In other words, he was not privy to the use of the image and the EFF had used it without his permission. Or peeps might have used it to score a point.

Some social media users are not convinced about Lasizwe’s claims regarding the poster, though. Some of them insisted he would do just about anything for money.

Well, it remains to be seen if his poster will sway voters in the municipal elections.
