He might be dead, but celebrated rapper Riky Rick has certainly not been forgotten. The songster was recently honoured by BET International.
At the BET Hip Hop Awards 2022, the “Boss Zonke” hitmaker would be honoured posthumously with the inaugural Global Vision Award. The official Twitter channel of the platform announced this much in a recent tweet which you can check out below.

The award will be hosted by American rapper Fat Joe.
Riky Rick died on his own terms and at his own hands earlier this year. He hung himself in his studio in what was determined to be the result of depression. He apparently battled that for a long time, alone – until it consumed him. Sadly.
Since his tragic passing, his pals and associates have been honouring him as they saw fit. Some organized concerts in his honour, while some named things for him and released music on which he was featured before his death, and yet some used his image as a profile picture.
The latest to honour the late rapper and fashion icon is BET International. And yes, South Africans are chuffed with the honour coming the way of one of their own.
Though shouldst be living at this hour, Riky!
