It is no longer news that Mohale and his estranged wife Somizi are getting a divorce? But what could the actor get from Somgaga if the divorce is finalised? Zilch? Well, an expert doesn’t think so.
Katlego Ragolane, an attorney at KM Ragolane Attorneys, made it clear that it’s unlikely the actor will walk away with nothing following his divorce from the Idols South Africa judge. The attorney noted that couples can be married in community of marriage, which means that they’re going to share their assets in the event of a divorce.
And where there was no prenuptial agreement, by default, the union is seen to be in community of property.
Interestingly, it appears like Somizi has been making moves to ensure that Mohale gets as little from his estate as possible. He’s reportedly included his ex-partner and their daughter as part of his estate. This way, in case of an unfavourable judgment, Mohale wouldn’t get half of his property.
Anyway, the divorce is yet to be finalised and a ruling given, so it cannot be determined how things will pan out and if Mohale will get anything at all. Still, we’re following events keenly and will bring you more details as they drop. tuned.
