The coronavirus pandemic and the corresponding lockdown is biting businesses hard in South Africa. Businesses are closing down. The latest business to announce it is closing down is Buns Out, which is owned by media personality and entrepreneur Maps Maponyane.

In a recent statement, Buns Out had announced the closing of its Johannesburg branch, stating that it had started out with great optimism for the future, but with the recent imposition of level 4 lockdown in South Africa and the restrictions on the sale of alcohol, the company has had to close down the branch while focusing on others.

According to Buns Out, its Linden and Norwood branches are still open as usual, and customers can patronize them.
