Lil Wayne is readying “tha Carter V” deluxe version for release this Friday, September 25th.
We dont know if you’ve heard but Lil Wayne is dropping the deluxe version of his hit album “tha Carter V” this weekend. That’s huge of course. If there’s anyone who can pull off releasing the deluxe version on an album 2 years after it dropped, it is definitely Wizzy.
The “tha Carter V” album was released on September, 28th, 2020. The album dropped after a highly publicized legal battle with Birdman. Now, he’s set to drop the Deluxe two days from now. That will be a weekend miracle.
The new info was shared to TMZ by the president of Young Money Records, Mack Maine. The upcoming deluxe version has also been teased with the hashtag #OGCV. It is expected to feature some previously leaked songs. Fans have revealed that some of them have already begun appearing on Shazam including “Life of Mr. Carter,” “Scottie,” and “More to the Story” featuring Raekwon.
Wayne who celebrated his 38th birthday recently got a $300,000 whip from Mack Maine. Maine shared a video of himself playing Wayne’s “Life Of Mr Carter” while driving to go surprise the rapper with the 2020 McLaren 720S. Wizzy is also in the process of recording “No Ceilings 3” and “Tha Carter VI”.
