Lisa Loring, Wednesday Addams Of “The Addams Family” Fame, Dead Aat 64

After an illustrious acting career spanning several years, Lisa Loring, who played Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family,” died of a stroke on Wednesday. She was 64.

Her daughter Vanessa Foumberg confirmed the actress’s passing while also giving some details about the moment of her exit from the material plane. According to Vanessa, her mother died peacefully with her and her sister holding their mother’s hands.

Since the news of her death broke, those who knew her or are one way or the other associated with her have been sharing their thoughts about her exit. A friend, Laurie Jacobson, noted that the actress was always in their heart for one of her most famous characters (Wednesday Addams).

For his part, fellow actor Butch Patrick expressed sadness to hear of her passing. He also remembered they were pretty close and that she was very weak at some point (because of her illness). Sadly, she is no more. He wished her Godspeed.
