South Africa’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) is set to auction a Braynston property belonging to Terry Pheto. The property is said to have been illegally acquired from funds belonging to the National Lottery Commission (NLC).
Initially, when the news broke that she had acquired the Bryanston home with funds from the NLC, she denied the whole claim, insisting it was from her resources that she got the house. With the current news that the SIU will be auctioning the home today, march 2, many expect her to go to court to challenge them and that failure to do so would amount to an admission of guilt.
In a post on its official Twitter account, the SIU had shared some details about the Braynsston home, noting that the auction has already started and those interested in placing their bids should do so through a link shared on the same platform. You can check it out below.

Amid the news of the auction of the property, South Africans are also focusing on kwaito Musicians Arthur Mafokate, whose mansion was also seized by the SIU vide a court order. However, at the time of writing, there was no official confirmation that the property was being auctioned as well.
