Liverpool’s New Playmaker Emerges

A new playmaker has emerged in Liverpool.

Liverpool has not had a very successful search trying to replace Roberto Firmino, but it seems their luck is changing. Cody Gakpo appears to be the most likely fit for the role. He delivered an impressive performance in Liverpool’s recent match, drawing 2-2 with Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

The talented Darwin Núñez has also received much praise for his performance in the Liverpool and Newcastle match. He delivered two impressive strikes and almost netted a third one. Liverpool.com writes that,

“Núñez was composed as he found Mohamed Salah before playing the pass that helped Dominik Szoboszlai win the penalty before half-time, with two contributions vital in getting the Reds into the lead after going a goal down.”

He has been doing impressively well on the field, gaining the attention of fans and critics after every match. The publication goes on to write that “in 10 games across all competitions, Núñez has contributed to seven goals in total, with clearly marked progress in his ability to fashion chances for others.”

There has been noticeable maturity in his decision-making, which is reflected in his tendencies on the field. The publication reports that there is currently more logic applied in his process. Read the full article here.
