Popular Celebrity trainer under intense fire for Body shaming American artiste and plus size model, Lizzo.
The internet was on fire due to the remarks made by the Biggest Loser celebrity coach, Jillian Michaels about Lizzo being overweight. She made this remarks during an interview on Buzzfeed news on Wednesday, the host after praising the self acceptance messages from the Bonnaroo headliner and Ashley Graham, was turned in another direction by the fitness trainer when she said i’m talking about Lizzo;
“Love her music,” she told the host.
I love her music 100%, I don’t know anything about her but I’m sure she’s a cool awesome chick. Why are we celebrating her body? Why does it matter? Why aren’t we celebrating her music? ‘Cause it isn’t gonna be awesome if she gets diabetes.
This didn’t go down with Lizzo’s fans as they took to Twitter to throw shots at the celebrity trainer. But Michaels later responded that she meant absolute no harm and she loves Lizzo’s music but was just trying to let her thoughts about Lizzo known.
Lizzo who came into the limelite after releasing her viral video “Good as hell” and is an advocate for loving one’s self who proclaims herself the plus size queen, hasn’t made any public statement concerning the issue.
