Loyiso MacDonald Lands Role on New Show to Replace ‘The River’

Fans are excited as famous actor Loyiso MacDonald lands a role in a forthcoming series set to replace “The River” nest year.

Out with the old and in with the new. It was reported a while back that production company Tshedza Pictures will be closing the curtains on “The River.” However, fans need not be worried because we hear the company is already filming a new show.

The announcement was made by Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela, who revealed that Loyiso MacDonald has bagged a new role in the show. The former “The Queen” actor will be a part of the new telenovela produced by Tshedza Pictures which will replace The River on 1Magic.

In a comment to Briefly News, Phil Mphela said that more familiar faces are expected to be announced in due course. He said,

“I wouldn’t know about how the audience will receive it. But it is a telenovela.”

Fans are already excited about the show. @chipunzaamandat asked, “Is Mandla N, by any chance, cooking something for us? At least with him, we guaranteed new talent.” @SibaWilson wrote, “I hope we can see different faces in that Telenovela. Ferguson films and Tshedza are so good in recycling faces.”
