Podcast host, MacG mocks SA Hip Hop star and TV Host, Cassper Nyovest amidst The Braai Show ratings drop.
Many months back, Mzansi was shocked to find out that AKA had been changed as the host of The Braai Show, and his rival, Cassper Nyovest would be taking over. This caused both rappers to trend heavily on Twitter.
While fans of Cass celebrated his new position as the show’s host, and praised him for his performance, it has been revealed that the show’s ratings have failed to reach that of the first season. The announcement was made by media personality, Phil Mphela who revealed that the second season’s most watched episode pulled in 2.2 million viewers and still could not best the first season’s 2.8 million.
Not letting it slide, podcast host, MacG has trolled Cass since the announcement. In an interview, he asked Sol Phenduka what shows he has been watching, and trolled Cass saying “The Braai Show, I thought you will mention The Braai Show, it seems like no one is watching The Braai Show. The numbers are bad, terrible.”
He further stated,
“The Podcast without Sol is like The Braai Show without AKA,”
