Apparently musos Bandile and Banele are about to seize the airwaves again. The pair, who makes up the group Major League – also called Major League DJz – has announced a new album titled “Energy.”
The announcement of the imminent body of work was made via the group’s verified Instagram page. According to them, the album drops next month (October). No exact date was given for the release and no tracklist was shared.
Also, there was no indication who and who would find feature spots in the upcoming project, or even the genre-focus of the body of work. But given that the brothers have caught the amapiano fever, evident in their “Amapiano Balcony Mix” series, fans just might face another amapiano project from them.
Major League released “Pianochella!” album in collaboration with Abidoza in late July. Soon after that, they had accused the public of sleeping on the project. Perhaps their next work is meant to rouse the public from slumber. But will it?
