Major League DJz is gearing for its first ever mix Balcony Mix Africa at the 20,000 capacity Dome and could do with the help of another notable figure – in this case Black Coffee, one of the most celebrated international DJs from South Africa.
In a tweet yesterday, the brothers Bandile and Banele (who make up major League DJZ) had said they would need Black Coffee’s expertise in the sound department. They tagged the “Drive” maestro to their tweet
At the time of writing this, Black Coffee had not responded. But given the standing of Major League in South African music, Black Coffee is expected to respond and positively, too.
By the way, Major League was formerly into hip hop music. The brothers ditched hip hop for the amapiano and are doing pretty well in the genre. Every Friday, they host what they call Amapiano Live Balcony Mix. They’ll be taking their mixing to the Dome later this month are are pretty excited about it.
