Popular DJs, Major League are one of the biggest acts in the country right now. The popular duo is at the forefront of the Amapiano movement all over Africa and the world. They have made names for themselves as Dance DJs and have also impacted the growth of the genre.
However, many do not know that they started out as Hip Hop DJs and also snagged a few hits in their time doing that. In a recent chat with SA rapper, Riky Rick on the Remy Martin Team Up Sessions, they opened up about their growth since leaving SA Hip Hop.
According to them, the Hip Hop scene was already big and established, and wasn’t really authentic to South Africa. Being in the dance space sees them trying to take over the world. Watch the full interview below.
