Love is in the air for South African singer Makhadzi, as she is said to be engaged to the businessman Lawrence Mulaudzi. This comes as good news to many of her fans who have been wanting to see her settle down with a man and do away with the sporadic relationship drama.
Of course, it is splendid news for the singer herself, who seems eager to have that ring so she can focus on her music and not be entangled with one dram or the other over who she is dating or not dating.
According to sources, in December last year, Lawrence Mulaudzi sent a delegation to Makhadzi’s family to seek her hand in marriage. Things are said to have ramped up after that.
Another source also claimed that the singer had relocated to Cape Town to be with her man but her manager denied the claims.
Makhadzi herself has not said anything about being engaged to Lawrence Mulaudzi. Maybe she is just taking her time and doesn’t feel it is time to do so yet.
Either way, she is happy to be finally engaged and ready to say “I do.” The sonstress has previously dated other men, most famously Master KG.
