Makhadzi Will Perform For Free To Pay Off A Debt
Mzansi singer Makhadzi will perform for free at the Exclusive White Spring Picnic to be held on 2 September at the Dries Niemandt Park in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, to pay off an outstanding debt she owes.
“Ghanama” star Makhadzi is set to hit the stage at the Exclusive White Spring Picnic on September 2 and give a free performance. This is due to an outstanding debt she owes the show’s organizers.
According to a report by Zimoja, the singer failed to show up to the White Lifestyle gig at Kempton Park on April 30 after she was paid R80 000 by the event’s organizers. She was charged to court but could not pay up due to personal challenges.
A Source told the outlet, “After she got the letter of demand from organizers, she told them that she won’t be able to pay as things are not looking good for her financially at the moment.” Mafikizolo, Afro Pop star Ringo Madlingozi, Boohle, Busiswa, DJ Tira and more will also be performing at the event.
