Malema Criticizes South Africans For Not Showing Up for Bafana

EFF president Julius Malema has slammed South Africans for not showing up to welcome Bafana Bafana players following their return from Ivory Coast.

The just concluded Africa Cup Of Nations tournament saw South Africa’s national team, Bafana Bafana, put in much work. They ended up bringing home the bronze cup, and several fans voiced how proud they were of them.

Unfortunately, they did not show up to welcome the team like they did when the Springboks brought home the Rugby World Cup. Julius Malema joined thousands of EFF members who welcomed the team at the OR Tambo Airport.

The EFF X account wrote,

“Fighters came out in their numbers to OR Tambo to welcome Bafana Bafana home. The EFF will always support and rally behind the South African football team.”

Speaking about the no-show, the EFF president said,

“You can’t see hardly two white people, and it’s something you must not talk about because you are dividing us. But when it is a white sport, we are all there. Including those who have no idea about the sport”.

“It’s so unfortunate. But nevertheless, we must continue to love ourselves. We must not love ourselves depending on the love of others.”
