Sports fanatic Mama Joy is getting slammed for her Danny Jordaan post following the Hawks raid at Safa House.
Mama Joy has declared her support for SAFA President Danny Jordaan by writing “Hands off Danny Jordaan.” This comes after a raid was conducted at the South African Football Association’s headquarters in Nasrec. This resulted from the allegations involving fraud and theft of about R1.3 million.
According to reports, several items, including documents linked to Jordaan, were confiscated in the raid.
The governing body has spoken against the raid, saying, “We want to set it out from the onset that we believe the search was unlawful, malicious, and not conducted in terms of the directives of a warrant given to us.”
SAFA also vowed to contest the process and clear their President’s name. Mama Joy’s support for Jordaan was not well received by social media users, who slammed her in their reactions.
One X user wrote, “Not surprised all ANC members embrace corruption.” The Great Dlamini reacted, “You’re digging your own grave umdala.” Edgar Legoale condemned the sports fan, writing, “Mama Joy stop what you are doing. DONT DEFEND THIS Bloody Thug WHO DESTROYED GRASSROOT FOOTBALL IN SOUTH AFRICA. Danny Jordaan Must go to Jail.”
