Man Utd Staff Are Torn Between Accepting Mason Greenwood Back At The Club

Manchester United staff are torn between accepting Mason Greenwood back at the club to continue his football career after he was accused of attempted rape.

A recent report by The Guardian reveals that Man U staff are “split over whether Mason Greenwood should be allowed to resume his career at the club.” An attempted rape case against the football star was recently dropped by prosecutors leaving the club to decide whether to accept him back or let him go.

The Guardian reports that a substantial proportion of the workforce would be unhappy if he played for the club again, while others “feel a duty of care” toward him because he joined the club at age seven and was not found guilty.

The football star had denied the charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behavior, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The case was dropped after key witnesses withdrew cooperation from the investigation.
