Mandoza’s widow Mpho Tshabalala has refuted claims that BET is making a movie about her late husband’s life and music career.
A while ago, news broke that a movie was being made about Mduduzi Tshabalala’s life. The rumours said his wife had teamed up with BET to bring the legendary star’s life story to television.
It now turns out that it was all just a rumour. According to a report by City Press, his widow Mpho Tshabalala has denied the claims. However, she announced that she has a couple of projects in the works and will announce them in due time.
She said, “I don’t know anything about a movie or biopic about him. I am not working with anyone on his movie at the moment. There are a number of projects I am working on, which will be revealed in due course.” Mandoza passed away in 2016 from a brain tumor.
