It’s excitement galore around the world as pop queen Beyonce announces she’s dropping a new album soon.
She had given clues something new was on the way without beibg explicit. She had removed the profile pictures on all her social media accounts, leaving fans speculating what was on the way.
At the time opinions were divided about her dropping new outfits to celebrate pride month and her releasing new music. It turned out those who suggested new music were right on point. It’s been ages since the songstress released a project, so the excitement is understandable.
But what exactly is coming? An album or a single? Well, no one knows except Beyonce herself. Shed only released a teaser via Tidal, a streaming platform partly owned by her husband Jay-Z.
A post via the streamer’s verified Twitter handle reads, “act i RENAUSSANCE.” The caption to that indicated it’s from Beyonce and that it will drop on July 29.
If it is an album, then it would be the singer’s first album in six years. Her last project, “Lemonade,” was released back in 2016.
A fever of anticipation is already enveloping her fans, who just can’t wait to see what the songstress would release on that date. Some thoughts follow.
