Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode’s ‘Jerusalema’ To Get SAMAs International Achievement Award

Mzansi hit makers, Naira Marley and Nomcebo Zikode set to received SAMAs International Achievement Award for their hit song “Jerusalema”.

2 years ago, Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode released their collaboration “Jerusalema” without an idea how massive it would be. The song went on to become a massive jam and dominate the world. Even with the pandemic, “Jerusalema” was a viral hit which took the world by storm.

After KG and Nomcebo were snubbed at SAMA26, fans took to social media to call out the Awards. They were heavily criticised for passing on the song which was obviously the song of the year. However, KG went on to bag many international awards for it.

Finally, the SAMAs have released a statement announcing that the two stars would be awarded the International Achievement Award for the hit at SAMA27. Fans have reacted well to the announcement with some hailing the SAMAs for finally doing right.

The pandemic may have brought us to our knees, but Jerusalema ft @Nomcebozikode gave us comfort. @MasterKGsa is truly a master mind for the work he has put in to make the world dance. He’s the recipient for the #SAMA27 International Achievement Award. We see you champ!”
