Master KG Lavishes R1k On Random Fans

Ever since his Nomcebo-assisted “Jerusalema” song blew up and he came globally famous, South African disc jockey and producer Master KG has been showing fans his magnanimous side, hurling rands their way.

He did it again, man. The songster was apparently in a good mood recently and gifted several fans R1,000 each. This act of generosity caused him to trend on Mzansi Twitter.

Fans who noticed the free cash offer did what they can to get his attention and get their share of free money. Some claimed they can’t do without his music and dance to them every day. Others claimed they’re broke and helpless and could do with a little cheddar from the muso.

Just about every imaginable story popped on the songster’s timeline. But, of course, he couldn’t possibly gift every fan R1k each. Some random fellows were lucky. Others, not much so.

By the way, Master KG recently established his own record label and announced the same on his Instagram and Twitter pages. The announcement came amid a crisis with Nomcebo over royalties from “Jerusalema.”
