Master KG has thanked telecoms service provider MTN for replacing his lost phone.
The “Jerusalema” crooner stated he lost two pf his phones (an iPhone and Samsung S20) in a cab he ordered. When he noticed his phone was missing he tried calling the cabbie, but found out the cabbie’s phone was switched off.
In a recent tweet, he indicated that five hours after his call, he found out the cabbie’s phone was back on. But the cabbie insisted he had made private trips and his passengers might have taken the phones.
MTN apparently found out about Master KG’s tweet and elected to fix the Limpopo artiste a replacement. Master KG shared an image of him receiving a parcel from an MTN representative. In the caption, he thanked the telco for replacing his phone.
He, however, failed to indicate if it was one phone that was replaced or both of them. His tweet about the replacement attracted some fans who wasted no time telling MTN they had also lost their phones and asking for replacements.
Apparently, most of them forgot to see that replacing Master KG’s phone was a business coup on MTN’s part. Need we explain that? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section below.
