Master KG’s musical successes continue with the recent news that his song “Jerusalema (Remix)” song with Burna Boy has gone diamond in France.
Africori shared the news yesterday 2 October 2020. Master KG retweeted it with a seve-word comment and a couple of heart and praying hands emojis. The remix hasn’t done as well as the original “Jerusalema” track with Nomcebo. It is moving in the marketing, anyway.
The original “Jerusalema” track is already global hit with over 200 million vies on YouTube, with many industry watchers predicting it will soon reach one billion views. The song has spawned a dance challenge and even been endorsed by the government of South Africa.
By the way, Master KG’s latest diamond success comes just after another piece of good news, his nomination for the NJR Music awards. Also the songster had secured a feature spot on Rethabile Khumalo’s “Ntyilo Ntyilo” song.
Will “Jerusalema (Remix)” ultimately earn platinum certification like the original track? the coming weeks should reveal that.
