Don’t you just love how much the people who perform in Mzansi always want to come back? Well, we do. American neo-soul singer Maxwell is thrilled to be coming back to South Africa. The singer happily announced his return to the country with a tweet on the X app.
The “Pretty Wings” star announced that he was returning to perform at the 10th DStv Delicious Festival on Sunday, 24 September. He wrote, “South Africa, I have missed you.”
Announcing its decade celebration on social media, DStv’s Delicious Festival shared details with fans. They wrote, “We proudly present Maxwell, Zakes Bantwini, Tems, Shalamar, Incognito, Robert Glasper, Arrested Development, and Oskido, just a glimpse of the explosive and star-studded artists who will set the stage on fire at the DStv Delicious Festival Powered by LottoStar.”
Also in the lineup of performers are Murdah Bongz, Greg (The Musical Maestro), Christos, Oscar Mbo, DJ Kent, DJ Lamiez, Ringo, and Joyous Celebration.
Excited fans have reacted to Maxwell’s anticipated return to the country and said they were expecting him. Others hilariously told him to beware because the country was battling load-shedding.
