Meek Mill To Record His Next Album In Africa

Hip Hop artist and businessman Meek Mill has shared plans to record his next album in Africa.

Meek Mill is known for his love for Africa, but sometimes, he gets criticized for his comments. Earlier this year, he was trolled by South Africa and Nigeria after he tweeted on X asking what apps citizens in both countries use to stream his music. He later apologized and said he was misunderstood.

The star also hinted at plans to record a new album featuring multiple African artists from different countries. He wrote,

“12 different songs, 12 different countries, 12 different artists.”

While he readies his next album, “Champagne Moments,” Meek has shared plans to spend some time in Africa and record another one. The Philadelphia-born rapper said he will stay in the continent for two weeks with his producers and make music.

He wrote, “Ima go to Africa and record my next album! Stay for 2 weeks, bring my producers my art and mash up!!!”

He also previously expressed his admiration for Ghana. He shared his desire to have Ghana citizenship and maybe even live in the country, writing,

“I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!!! America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!”
