
Meet the new housemates of “Big Brother Mzansi” season four.
On Sunday, 21 January, Mzansi welcomed 23 new faces into their homes. The housemates of the fourth season of Big Brother Mzansi were unveiled, and the fans have already taken favourites. No doubt, we are in for a great show this year.
The 23 housemates will compete for the grand prize of R2 million over 70 days, after which the grand finale will happen on 31 March 2024. The show airs on DStv channel 198, and the live shows on Mzansi Magic DStv channel 161.
Here are all the housemates who made it into the Big Brother Mzansi house.
1. BravoB:

Lindokuhle “Bravo B” Nsele, 26, a tall one, made quite an entrance with his traditional headpiece, which Maleka couldn’t help but comment on “Nawu umshado mantombazane” (Here is marriage, ladies) he said.
He was the second housemate. Bravo B is a good vendor from KwaZulu-Natal.
2. Sinaye:

Sinaye Kotobe is a 24-year-old, self-employed man from Qonce, Eastern Cape. He shared that his strategy for the game is “to be the best version of himself that he could ever be.” He wore traditional attire, a black and white two-piece, and a matching beaded headpiece. He is in a relationship, which he hopes will wait for him when he gets out.
3. Mcjunior:

McJunior Zondi, 25, is an aspiring writer and creative from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. He told Maleka that the best person who knows him is his girlfriend, and he has a bad case of trypophobia. He aims to overcome it in the house. He is both loyal and a disruptor.
4. Yolanda:

Eulanda “Yolanda” Monyai, 32, is a sales consultant from Limpopo. She was the fifth housemate to make it into the house. She speaks seven languages and promised some fun. Yolanda wore a pink mini skirt, silver thigh-high boots, and a sequin cropped jacket. She strutted in like the model she is.
5. Mpumi:

Harriet “Mpumi” Mthimunye, 23, is a nightclub MC from Ga-Rankuwa, Gauteng. She was the second lady to make it into the house, and she promised to entertain the viewers. She wore a revealing pink short dress.
6. Pale:

Palesa “Pale” Motanyane, 30, is a business development manager from Soweto, Gauteng. She wore a royal blue long dress. She said she told her friends she was going on a work trip. They will surely be surprised. She also said, “After God, fear Xhosa men.”
7. Mali:

Mbali “Mali” Miya, 25, is a Bolt driver and club hostess from Thembisa, Ekurhuleni. She wore a bright red mini dress with a long tail and matching thigh-high boots. She is here for the money and will spoil her mom first when she wins.
8. Jareed:

Mfanele “Jareed” Nduku, 24, is a structural and mechanical designer from Pretoria, Gauteng. He walked him amid cheers from the audience. This prompted Maleka to ask, “Udume ngani wathandwa kangaka?” (What are you famous for), and he replied, “It’s the look I put it on!”
9. Young Pappi:

Muthusiemang “Young Pappi” Bika, 22, is a student and entrepreneur from Kimberly, Northern Cape. He is a Hispanic lady killer who wants to make his mark on ‘BBM’ with his wit and drama.
10. Liema:

Liyema “Liema” Phantsi, 22, is a waitress, singer, and podcaster from Qonce, Eastern Cape. She wore a pink mini-dress and high-heeled strappy sandals. She was nervous at first but got bolder when she sang for Maleka.
11. Mich:

Mishack “Mich” Mazibuko, 23, is a student and content creator from Midrand/ Mpumalanga. Quite the talkative, he wore a mustard three-piece baggy suit. He is used to the social media streets because he’s a TikToker.
12. Sammy_M:

Siphosethu “Sammy M” Mxunyelwa, 22, is a Goldsmith from Qonce, Eastern Cape. She wore bright orange and felt a bit awkward when asked about the contents of her handbag. She wants to observe and use other housemates’ weaknesses.
13. Meelay:

Ichumile “Meelay” Nozibele, 26, is a make-up artist from East London, Eastern Cape. She wore a short pink gown and promised to bring drama, sass, and everything nice.
14. Zee:

Zinhle “Zee” Mofokeng, 25, is a club hostess from Vaal Triangle, Gauteng. She was stunning in an all-baby blue two-piece. She confessed to being a neat freak and was excited to meet the others.
15. Chuenzaaa:

Chuene “Chuenzaa” Kaapu, 24, is a marketing manager from Limpopo. They wore a blonde wig and an all-red outfit. They promised to take their mother, sister, and BBM host Maleka to the city of love, Paris, if they win.
16. Lerato Modise:

Lerato Modise, 30, is an entrepreneur from Free State. She walked out in a wedding dress and described herself as a cultural provocateur and instigator.
17. PapaGhost:

Sabelo “Papaghost” Ncube, 36, is a music producer from Johannesburg, Gauteng. He wore a white suit with lace pants and a silk scarf. He is bringing energy to the house.
18. Els:

Elsie “Els” Sese, 23, is a hairdresser from Vaal Triangle, Gauteng. She said she was looking for a tall gentleman with a great smile. She wore what looked like a Zulu traditional dress.
19. Makhekhe;

Tshepo Tau, 27, also known as Makhekhe, was the first housemate to be introduced into the house. He was all hyped up and confessed to being a ladies’ man. The energetic housemate said he understands that the game is just about being yourself, having fun, and showcasing to Mzansi who you are. “I will cause all the drama because of the entertainment.”
20. Willy

Wilfred “Willy” Thathane, 24, is an intern from Ga-Rankuwa, Gauteng. He was the ninth housemate, and he said he wanted to be seen from all angles of the house. He always chooses violence but is a sweetheart in a relationship.

22. Neo Sibiya, 21, is a content creator and fitness coach from Mpumalanga.
23. Takalani “Taki” Muthige, 27, is an entertainer from Limpopo.
