South Africa’s hip-hop space is about to experience another exciting angle of love and hip-hop as MTV Africa unveils the cast for Love & Hip Hop South Africa (SA), a global hip-hop reality show.
The reality show Franchise has South Africa in focus this year and will bring to viewers the lives, loves and relationship dynamics of some of the Rainbow Nation’s prominent rap voices, encompassing the blokes and the babes.
The 13-episode series will take South Africans through the love lives, achievements and personal struggles of some of their notable rap voices. The cast members of the reality show include Da L.E.S of the “Gucci Snake” fame and DJ Speedsta, a DJ producer, and the brains behind the “Combos Communicating” fame.
Others are Gigi Lamayne and Yanga Chief. Gigi Lamyne is a standout rapper with a troubled past who has continued to push ahead with her bars. The “Job Woods” chanter recently declared her love for Nigerian singer Burna Boy.
For his part, Yanga Chief, who appeared to have slowed down his releases of late, is just known as one of the fine rap voices in South Africa.
Shane Eagle and Fifi Cooper are also part of the cast of the show which officially kicks off on 27 February on MTV Africa, DStv Channel 130 at 21:30 PM CAT.
