Metro FM apologises for playing unedited version of Cassper’s “Malome” song
Metro FM tenders an apology after a social media user slammed the station for playing an unedited version of Cassper Nyovest’s “Malome” single.
Things took a strange turn when the not so clean version of the song with curse words were played on the morning show on Thursday 20th of February 2020. The listeners were left in awe after this and they requested for the host of the show Mo Flava to tender an apology for this abnormally.

The on air personality didn’t apologize immediately until the complains started pouring in on social media. It was then he now apologized and said it was due to some technical problems.
SABC’s representative have now made a comment on the event and said it did happen and the station deeply regret the event and added more apologies to that which had been made by Mo Flava earlier.
In other news ,The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) says they are looking to sell some properties, but said they wont be selling Metro FM, SABC3 and Good FM, just their non core assests. This came as a result of reports that the government was looking to privatize the stations along sides other properties due to debt.
