It is happy hour for amapiano duo MFR Souls as their song “Love You Tonight” earns gold status. The song, which features Sha Sha and the piano kings DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, was a massive hit with fans at the time it was released.
It is not surprising it should earn gold status finally.
MFR Souls shared the news of the gold certification via its Instagram page yesterday 5 August 2020. To celebrate this milestone, the group announced something special for fans on 14 August 2020.

The group didn’t elaborate on what the “special” something is. However, we are guessing it will be a mix – an appreciation mix, to be specific, which is now traditionally the way South African DJs and producers appreciate fans for their support.
By the way, Sony Music Africa also broke the news of the gold certification via its verified Instagram handle, while also announcing something special was coming from the amapiano duo to music lovers in Mzansi.
