Mi Casa Signs A Major Deal With Afroforce1 Records

Popular South African Afro-House group, Mi Casa, has landed a huge international deal with Afroforce1 Records.

This great news will be a game-changer for the group as they will be opportune to break into the international market. Afroforce1 Records is a part of the Universal Music Group Africa.

The popular Afro-House group consists of Joao Da Fonseca, popularly known by the stage name, J’Something, who is the lead singer/songwriter, Moshe Kgasoane, popularly known by the stage name, Mo-T, who is the trumpeter, and Sipho Mphahlaza, popularly regarded as Dr Duda, who is the DJ/producer.

According to reports, the main aim of creating the group is to develop local artists and introduce them to central European markets.

The Managing Director of Afroforce1 Records, Joe Chialo, spoke positively on the merge. He said:

Africa is a young and vibrant continent- a creative superpower. With our great team from Afroforce1 and UMG Africa we will find, develop and equally establish artists whom we can offer the possibility of entering a new market in Europe and the rest of the world.

This newly built bridge will also enable artists from Europe to dive deep into the unlimited font of creativity that Africa has to offer. the whole team is really excited to be a part of this adventure.

The popular group is happy about landing such a major deal and knowing that this will boost their prominence in the music industry.

In other news, to promote hope during the coronavirus pandemic, several talented Mzansi musicians have come together to release a song.

J’Something of Mi Casa, K.O, Qwabe Twins of Idols SA, and award-winning vocalist, Msaki, collaborated on a song titled ‘Rainbow.’

The track was released with the aim of lifting the spirits of South Africans and building a sense of solidarity amongst them as they try to combat the spread of coronavirus.
