Around the world, for many, January came with headaches as they lost people close to them. One of those who vanished this month is Lisa Marie Presley, the ex-wife of the pop icon Michael Jackson and daughter to Elvis Presley.
Lisa died on Thursday, January 12, following a cardiac arrest. According to multiple sources, she was rushed to a hospital in California after she suffered a cardiac arrest. She, unfortunately, didn’t make it alive.
Her mother Priscilla Presley confirmed the death in a statement, noting she was announcing the tragic news of her daughter’s passing with a heavy heart. Lisa was an only daughter, so Priscilla is understandably hit hard.
Dwelling deeper about her daughter, Priscilla described Lisa as the most passionate woman she has ever known. While she thanked people for their love and prayers, she also asked for privacy as the family deals with its loss.
Until further notice, according to her, there would be no comment from her about the tragic incident.
