Minnie Dlamini Says She’s Not Paying “No 10k Maintenance Fee” At Her Comedy Roast

Minnie Dlamini boldly says she isn’t paying an R10k maintenance fee at her comedy roast.

The highly anticipated Roast of Minnie Dlamini finally happened over the weekend and it was certainly a delight. Although, we heard that so many things didn’t go as planned, but they certainly put on a show.

According to IOL, the roast took place on Friday at the highly anticipated Laugh Africa Comedy Festival. It happened in the Sandton Convention Centre, but was reported to be several hours behind schedule and began at 10pm. However, it was worth it in the end.

The publication writes that it was attended by the rich and famous including Luthando ‘LootLove’ Shosha, Faith Nketsi, Ntando Duma, Zizo Tshwete and others. It also featured panellists, Trevor Gumbi, Shahan Ramkissoon, Celeste Ntuli, Lasizwe Dambuza, Penny Lebyane, Da L.E.S, Siv Ngesi and Robert Marawa.

As expected, they did not escape getting roasted. Da L.E.S and his all-white parties were compared to embattled US rapper P. Diddy’s recent woes. Trevor Gumbi was dragged for his drug past and diabetic condition, and his ex-wife Lucille’s wedding was not left out. It was the same for the others.

Minnie Dlamini also reportedly held her own and gave back as much as she got. She is quoted saying that she isn’t paying any R10K to her ex-husband Quinton Jones despite reports about it. The Roast of Minnie Dlamini will air on Showmax on April 26.
