The Miss Universe pageant will reportedly air on SABC 3 this weekend.
Fans of beauty pageant are optimistic about the Miss Universe pageant finale happening this weekend. Miss Universe South Africa Bryoni Govender is one of the front-runners at the competition happening in El Salvador.
The finale is scheduled to happen on Saturday, November 18. However, due to the time difference, it will be broadcast live on SABC 3 (DStv Channel 193) from 3am on Sunday, November 19. You might want to stay up and watch the event or catch it later, as the finals will be repeated at 7.30 pm on the same day.
We hear that American musician John Legend will be performing. There will also be the debut of Pakistan and the return of Denmark, Egypt, Guyana, Hungary, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Mongolia, Norway, and Zimbabwe.
Govender, who is currently in rehearsals and expected to grant personality interviews today and do the National Costume show on the 16 said,
“I want the world to stop spinning on its axis so I can breathe it all in and savour this glorious time.”
“Meeting wonderful women from all over the world and connecting with them at so many levels has been a true delight. It’s all going too quickly. I want more time to enjoy every precious moment.”
