Zozobini’s message came at the right time to inspire her followers, who are thankful for the post.

About a month ago, she had shown what can be achieved by the fearless and determined by being brave enough to break the rules in the beauty industry. These qualities made her become the crowned Miss Universe, amongst over ninety beauty queens from all over the globe.
Zozobini’s passion for natural beauty and changing the modeling industry has gotten her support from millions of people. While delivering her final message on the Miss Universe stage, she stressed the importance of recognising and celebrating black women, and their natural beauty.
I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me, with my kind of skin and my kind of hair, was never considered to be beautiful. And I think it’s time that that stops today. I want children to look at me and see my face, and I want them to see their faces reflected in mine.
