American rapper Jay-Z snagged attention with his decision to turn his Grammy award into a COgnac glass of sorts. Of course, given his influence, that decision reverberated across the world.
The songster had been honoured with the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the Grammys. He accepted the awards and then delivered a powerful speech that had the attention of everyone in the audience.
Jay-Z highlighted how his wife Beyonce has had the most Grammy awards of any artist but has never won the Album of the Year category at the Grammys. That was more like an impossible situation to him, inexplicable and puzzling.
While the world was still processing that speech, the American rapper snagged attention again when he did something unusual – turn his Grammy award into a Cognac glass, as you can see in the photo below.
