An old video of South African media personality Tbo Touch speaking about how he got suspended from Metro FM over his refusal to ask Floyd Mayweather to wait before an interview has resurfaced online.
In the said clip, Tbo Touch was on the set of Podcast and Chill With MacG, where he shared a lot before the camera. A key highlight of the interview was his revelation that he was fired for a flimsy reason.
According to him, he was told to ask the celebrated boxer to wait so that members of management could take pictures with him, but he declined and went ahead with the interview – with Mayweather’s security protocol in mind.
As a result, management couldn’t take pictures with the money man. This infuriated the then-manager, Hlaudi Motsoeneng, who ended up suspending him before his colleagues.
The old clip elicited mixed reactions, with some South Africans taking a jab at those instrumental in his suspension, calling them names.
How Tbotouch was fired from Metro FM is heartbreaking, the people we call leaders they're đ§ damaged.

Some didn’t think the management’s decision was a big deal because, to them, he was supposed to have listened and left it to Mayweather to decide whether he wanted to take pictures with management or not. Well, life goes on.
