Television personality Nele Mdoidad recently took to Twitter where she informed her followers that her father is building a school in their village, Ncembu kuTsolo.
Going into details about the building of the school, the media personality, who’s infamous for constantly disparaging remarks about American singer Kelly Rowland, noted that her father had attended school on the same grounds.
Where his school was made of mud, her father had decided to erect a brick-and-mortar structure. Since delving into building the school, other brands have joined to push the work forward. You can check out her tweet below.
The tweet elicited mixed reactions, with some tweets, including fellow media personality Sizwe Dhlomo, praising the initiative and sharing some nice words about her father. According to Sizwe, Uncle Pat (Anele Mdoda’s father) is one of the most helpful men ever, with those always open to those in need of assistance, especially those who want to leap into the world of business.
There are those who criticized the structure her father was putting up, though, noting that it was mediocre compared to what the American entrepreneur Oprah Winfrey had erected somewhere else in Mzansi.
