Jub Jub is out the remix of his song “Ndikhokhele,” which you can stream here on UbeToo. Unlike the original track, the remix has several fine names in Mzansi music as guests.
Word circulating online is that proceeds from the song will go to families of his car crash victims. In case you’re unaware, years ago, a drunk Jub Jub had crashed his car into school children. He was convicted of manslaughter and spent some time in jail.
Out of jail, he had rebranded himself, focusing on his music and television programme. His appearance on television elicited massive opposition at the outset, with some people saying it is was insult to the families of the peeps he rammed him vehicle into while drunk years ago.
Jub Jub’s “Ndikhokhele (Remix)” has been greeted with approval and head shaming in equal. While some fans think he did excellently on the song, others think he didn’t quite fly.
Either way, there’s no denying the nobility of the initiative of giving the profits from the song to families of victims of his drunk driving. Or what do you think? You might want to join the conversation by dropping your thoughts in the comment section below.
